Tonight was a special FREE (probably the only reason I went... okay, AND my bro-crush on Aaron Paul) screening of the NFS movie here in Atlanta.
The movie is exactly what you'd expect it to be- tons of action packed driving and getting sideways in various cars (Mustang, Agera, McLaren, Oh My!). Also, if you like watching YouTube videos of extremely loud exhaust noises coming out of awesome cars (guilty!) then you will appreciate this movie.
You will also nitpick every completely unfeasible or absurd thing that happens in movies such as this. I don't want to ruin it for you but there are some pretty glaring ones even for being the movie it is. Okay I can't resist... just ponder what the MPGs on a 900HP Mustang would be.
Despite the rare exotics, the intoxicating exhaust noises, and (surprisingly) halfway decent acting, this is definitely a wait for it on Netflix. This will also save your eardrums as well since 2 hours of loud exhausts in a theater gets to be a bit much.
My friend and I joked that two of the actors looked like not-as-attractive Bruno Mars and Kate Upton. Maybe they can get both for the inevitable sequel...
